Are there any deadlines we need to be aware of - like signing up for the test? Check out the NALA website at www.nala.org .  Click on Certification and you can get all the info on eligibility requirements as well as deadlines for applying to sit for the exam.  Registration forms are also available on the website.  There's a ton of information, but it's well presented and not too confusing! Most AIPS graduates qualify under Category 1 E or Category 2.  In either case, Annie or John will need to sign the Legal Assistant Program Director educational attestation. NALA will accept a faxed copy.  Generally, we sign this and fax it to you to include with the rest of your registration form and fee. Remember, you will need to submit an official copy of your transcript from AIPS AND from your college along with your application to sit for the exam.  You can request an AIPS transcript from Annie or John via FirstClass e-mail.  As above, we'll send this to you so you can include it with your exam application packet.
