You don't need to take additional classes to sit for the PACE exam, but you will need to take and pass the Law Office Skills Workshop before enrolling for the review course.  That's the only required course; although we do encourage all of our PACE students to take the Writing Skills Workshop and the Judgment/Analysis Workshop before taking the PACE Review Course.

You will probably come across information in the PACE Study Manual that will look new to you.  The AIPS curriculum is a generalist curriculum, and is designed to lay the foundation for taking the PACE exam   We don't "teach to the exam," but we do make sure that all areas of law addressed on the PACE exam are addressed in our curriculum.  In the PACE Review Course we concentrate on filling in the details.   So, even though you made terrific grades in your classes, you may come across topics in the PACE Study Manual that we didn't cover in the regular curriculum.  The purpose of the review course is to identify what you need to know - and sometimes that means identifying what you don't know!
